【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheextenttowhichatestgreaseretardstherotationofaspecially-manufactured,spring-loaded,automotive-typewheelbearingassemblywhensubjectedtolowtemperatures.Torquevalues,calculatedfromrestraining-forcedeterminations,areameasureoftheviscousresistanceofthegrease.Thistestmethodwasdevelopedwithgreasesgivingtorquesoflessthan35Nmat40C.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
