【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestoinsulatorstringsandsetscomprisingstringinsulatorunitsofceramicmaterial,glassorcompositematerialforuseona.c.overheadlinesandtractionlineswithanominalvoltageabove1000Vandafrequencybetween15Hzand100Hz.Thisstandardalsoappliestoinsulatorstringsorsetsofsimilardesignusedinsubstations.Thisstandardestablishesastandardtestprocedureforpowerarctestsoninsulatorsets.Italsoestablishesastandardtestprocedureforpowerarctestsonshortstrings.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytoinsulatorsetsmountedonnon-metallicpolesortowers.Thisstandardcannotbedirectlyappliedtolinepostinsulatorsorsets,ortoinsulatingstructuressuchasbracedline-posts,sincetheirmountingarrangementcannotbereproducedbythestandardarrangementsasdescribedherein.However,thisstandardcanbeusedasabasisforagreementfortestsonsuchinsulatorsandarrangements.Theobjectofthisstandardis-todefinethetermsused,-toprescribeastandardtestprocedure,-toprescribecriteriatoevaluatetheresultsofthetests.Powerarctestsarenotanobligatoryelementoflineinsulatorspecifications.Thestandardtestproceduresandtheevaluationcriteriadescribedinthisstandardareintendedtoprovidetestingguidancewhenpowerarctestsarefelttobenecessary.Itisnottheobjectofthisstandardtointroduceageneralobligationtoexecutethesetests.
